Becoming a Certified Practitioner of Contact Reflex Analysis® (CPCRA) is more than earning a credential. It represents a commitment to understanding the body's priorities, recognizing patterns, and applying CRA principles with greater knowledge, confidence, and proficiency.
CRA Certification evaluates both your knowledge of Contact Reflex Analysis® and your ability to apply that knowledge in practice.
It's not simply about memorizing reflex locations, scores, or sequences. It's about learning to recognize the story the body is telling.
What are the symptoms? What are the CRA findings? How do they connect? What is the body prioritizing, and why?
Certification challenges you to put the pieces together, explain your clinical reasoning, and demonstrate your understanding of how CRA findings can help guide an individualized approach to supporting the body.
CRA Certification is available to qualified health professionals who hold a postgraduate degree in the healing arts and have a current license, registration, or certification authorizing them to diagnose and treat within the field related to their qualifying degree.
Examples of eligible professionals include chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, osteopathic doctors, medical doctors, oriental medical doctors, nurse practitioners, dentists, acupuncturists, occupational therapists, psychologists, physical therapists, and other qualifying healthcare professionals.
Students are welcome and encouraged to begin their CRA education before graduation.
They may complete the required CRA training modules and participate in the certification examination process. However, the CPCRA designation cannot be awarded until they have graduated and obtained the appropriate professional license or certification.
Student pricing for CRA training is available during enrollment and for one year following graduation.
Before attempting certification, candidates must complete the following:
CRA Module 1
A minimum of two CRA Module 1 training seminars.
One of the two may be completed through CRA Module 1 Online Training.
CRA Module 2
A minimum of two CRA Module 2 training seminars.
One of the two may be completed through CRA Module 2 Online Training.
Most CRA Professional Training Weekends cover both Module 1 and Module 2.
Training Timeframe: The required trainings must have been completed within 36 months of Certification Weekend and no later than the stated training deadline for that event.
Candidates are responsible for understanding the material presented in both CRA textbooks, including:
CRA principles and procedures
Reflex locations and their significance
CRA sequences and techniques
Scoring and interpretation of findings
VerVita nutritional products and essential oils
Clinical application and reasoning
Any material covered in the Module 1 and Module 2 textbooks may be included in the certification examinations.
This is the heart of the CRA Certification process.
Rather than focusing on isolated findings, candidates must demonstrate their ability to recognize relationships and understand the bigger picture.
You'll be challenged to consider:
What symptoms and clinical concerns is the patient presenting?
What are the CRA findings and scores?
What relationships exist between those findings?
Which organs, glands, or systems appear to be priorities?
What does the body require to move toward balance?
Why does your proposed management approach make sense based on the findings?
And, of course, remember theheart — our "Queen Bee" — and its important role in understanding the body's priorities.
The goal is to demonstrate not just what you know, but how you think through a case and connect the pieces of the patient's story.
Practice makes the difference!
One of the most important ways to prepare for CRA Certification is through consistent, hands-on practice with your patients or clients.
We strongly encourage candidates topractice CRA daily, applying the sequences, locating reflexes, evaluating scores, and interpreting findings on a variety of individuals.
Our recommendation: Aim to complete at least 100 CRA evaluations involving a variety of patients or clients before Certification Weekend.
Repetition develops muscle memory, strengthens your ability to recognize patterns, and builds confidence in your findings.
As the techniques and sequences become more natural, you can focus less on remembering the steps and more on understanding the story the body is telling.
The goal isn't simply to reach a number. It's to develop the accuracy, proficiency, and clinical reasoning that come from applying CRA consistently.
The more you practice, the more confident and proficient you'll become!
The 100-evaluation goal is a recommendation, not a requirement for certification.
Candidates must submit ten clinical vignettes demonstrating their application of CRA in clinical practice:
Three (3) Module 1 vignettes using Module 1 sequences.
Seven (7) Module 2 vignettes incorporating scoring and sequences taught in Module 2.
Each vignette will be reviewed for accurate application of CRA principles, appropriate use of sequences and scoring, and the candidate's ability to understand and interpret the patient's presentation.
Feedback, clarification, or corrections may be requested during the review process.
All ten clinical vignettes must be reviewed and approved at least two weeks before Certification Weekend.
We strongly encourage early submission to allow adequate time for review and any necessary revisions.
Approval of all ten vignettes is required before advancing to Certification Weekend.
Two of your approved cases will be selected for you to discuss, demonstrate, and/or answer questions about.
This portion of the evaluation may be completed via Zoom before Certification Weekend.
Detailed instructions will be provided in your Certification Application Packet.
Certification Weekend is an examination and evaluation event, not a CRA instructional seminar.
The certification process includes:
A comprehensive evaluation of your knowledge of CRA principles, reflexes, scores, techniques, sequences, nutrition, essential oils, and clinical application.
You'll be asked to demonstrate CRA sequences and techniques, identify findings, and explain your reasoning.
You'll present and discuss two selected cases from your submitted vignettes, demonstrating your ability to understand the patient's presentation and connect CRA findings to the larger clinical picture.
The vignette evaluation may be completed in advance via Zoom.
Registered candidates will receive additional information regarding examination procedures and expectations.
CRA Certification is a progressive evaluation process. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency at each stage before advancing to the next.
These standards help ensure that the CPCRA designation represents a strong understanding of CRA principles, clinical reasoning, and practical application.
Certification is awarded upon successful completion of all required evaluations.
Certification Weekend concludes with a celebration of those who successfully complete the certification requirements.
Newly certified practitioners are presented with their CPCRA certifications and participate in theirfirst advanced CRA training session.
It's an opportunity to celebrate an important achievement while continuing to deepen your knowledge and understanding of CRA.
Certification is not the end of your CRA education. It's the beginning of a new chapter!
For candidates who want to deepen their understanding and feel more confident heading into certification, we offer an optional six-week preparation course taught byDawn Hoezee, CPCRA.
Over six live online sessions, we'll work through the material in both the CRA Module 1 and Module 2 textbooks, reviewing CRA principles, reflexes, scoring, sequences, techniques, and practical application.
But one of the most valuable parts of the course is something that goes beyond studying the textbooks.
We work through real patient vignettes together.
Participants present cases, and as a group we examine the symptoms, scores, CRA findings, and relationships between systems.
We ask questions, discuss possibilities, and help one another recognize details that may have been overlooked.
As we work through case after case, we begin to see patterns more clearly.
Why are we finding what we're finding? How does one finding relate to another? What is the body telling us?
The discussions are designed to help you strengthen your clinical reasoning, recognize connections, and become more confident in your CRA evaluations.
Participants in previous prep courses have consistently shared that the experience helped them do far more than prepare for certification. It helped them better understand their patients and become stronger CRA practitioners.

Earning your CPCRA designation recognizes your commitment to continued learning and proficiency in Contact Reflex Analysis®.
Certified practitioners may be listed in the CRA Practitioner Referral Directory, helping individuals find professionals trained and certified in CRA.
Practitioners may also include other areas of expertise and professional certifications in their profiles, such as QN, NET, and others.
CPCRA practitioners receive discounted tuition for future CRA Module 1 and Module 2 training weekends.
Continue learning, refreshing your skills, and expanding your understanding of CRA.
Certified practitioners may qualify for an annual rebate based on a percentage of their total VerVita Products purchases.
A minimum annual purchase requirement applies.
CPCRA practitioners may receive invitations to special events, educational opportunities, and other exclusive offers.
Certification is not the end of your CRA education. It's a commitment to continued learning, growth, and application.
To maintain active CPCRA status, certified practitioners must meet two ongoing requirements.
Attend at leastone qualifying CRA seminar every two years.
Submit a minimum ofone clinical case study each year, following the same general format used for certification vignettes.
These requirements encourage continued engagement with CRA principles and ongoing development of clinical proficiency.
